Pamela Jones of The Environmental Type provides virtual project support, with extensive experience in environmental projects.  Here are some examples of current and recent projects:

Script updates

  • Initial post production script updates for a series of 10-minute animated films using Final Draft version 7.

Transcript referral reports (Dental Specialists of Turramurra)

  • Transcribe specialist referral reports, including dental terminology relating to orthodontics, implants, crowns and bridges, and cosmetic dentistry.

Community Sustainability Information Kits (City of Ryde)

  • Compile Community Sustainability Information Kits for rainwater tanks, photovoltaic solar panels, solar hot water systems and ceiling insulation.

Support for committees (Sydney Weeds Committees)

  • Secretary for quarterly committee meetings
  • Coordinate group project funding applications and reporting
  • Organise workshops for committee members

National Landcare Awards (Step Communication)

  • Develop and administer simple Access database to manage the Awards dinner invitations and RSVPs
  • Undertake mail-out of Awards dinner invitations (including mail merge documents)
  • Receive RSVPs (approximately 600), including special needs requests, seating requests, etc
  • Print and collate name tags
  • Assist with table allocations
  • Oversee table seating/name tags and provide other general assistance at the Awards dinner

Environmental Grants Administration

  • Register grant applications
  • Check and troubleshoot data
  • Assess and recommend applications for funding
  • Notify applicants of results and provide information kits
  • Suggest improvements to program administration process
  • Compile statistics from project reports

Simple website development (August Investments)

  • Purchase design package and register domain name
  • Set up website structure according to client's requirements
  • Input content provided by client

Proofread and format HR Manual (Australia Chamber Orchestra)

  • Ensure consistent document formatting applied to 80+ HR policies
  • Apply standard terminology
  • Check cross-referencing and indexing

Interview transcription (various clients)

  • Transcribe and log oral history interviews
